EQUINE COMPETITION HEALTH & BIOSECURITY REQUIREMENTS
To ensure the safety of all equine exhibitors showing at Chagrin Valley Farms, CVF management has put in place the following health and safety protocols for horses at all shows and competitions (rated shows, schooling shows, dressage, mini-trials, etc.) beginning in March 2024. Great biosecurity is a team effort and begins at home; please do not ship horses to CVF who have elevated temperatures.
Required Forms / Biosecurity Requirements
Please check the Chagrin Valley Farms Show Facility Biosecurity Page for the latest updates and ALL paperwork requirements prior to the show as these are subject to change.
These have been updated as of 6.24.2024 to the following adjustment:
The 2x/day temperature checks 2-days before & during the show are now highly recommended, not required.
We ask that if you are able to check your horse’s temperature prior to and during the show that you do. This is for all of our horse’s health and safety. We know it is one more thing to do in your day, but it can make a difference in the event a horse has an elevated temperature and no other obvious symptoms, that may help you catch something early enough. Thank you for your efforts in helping make this a great horse show experience for everyone.
