The CVPHA is a 501c(3) organization. You can support the organization knowing that 0% of your donation is spent on administrative overhead. One-hundred percent is allocated to fulfilling our mission.

These are just a sample of volunteer jobs. If you’d like to help, but don’t see an area of interest let us know! We’ll find something for you to do!
Admission will be charged the last weekend of the show. One volunteer will monitor the exhibitor’s gate; others will be at the Rt. 87. General admission entrance selling tickets and at the Welcome tent. Volunteers will check for passes or collect admission fee. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Volunteers will keep the grounds clean and trash free, straighten box-seating areas, assist with general tidying for all show areas and move chairs when needed. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Volunteer will help water all plants and shrubs including all table centerpiecesand decorative displays.
Preferred Seating/Chalet Attendants
Volunteers monitor the entrances and check wristbands/lanyards into preferred seating areas and the chalet. Volunteers must be at least 21 yearsold.
Volunteers staff an information table at the Welcome Tent at the entrance to Grand Prix Village. They will hand out programs, schedules and maps, and sell merchandise and posters. Theywill also help check in guests and direct other volunteers, pass out volunteer t-shirts (if notreceived at training) and offer food and refreshments to all show volunteers. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and should have a thorough knowledge of the hunter/jumper show experience.
Volunteer will help organize ribbons and awards for that day’s events. Will need tohave ribbons available for when the class awards are presented and will help hand out ribbons and awards. Will need to coordinate with In-Gate person for award times. Ribbon presenters MUST be in appropriate attire.
FOR ALL VOLUNTEER JOBS:
Volunteers will be expected to wear neat tops, preferably their complimentary Chagrin Valley Hunter Jumper Classic t-shirt, tucked neatly into long shorts or pants during every shift. No cut off shorts or torn jeans.

Whether you are a boutique or specialty food vendor, you have a steady clientele of exhibitors who are on the grounds everyday starting at 6 a.m. Spectators are charged only charged admission for the Sunday Grand Prix. We have a third party marketing and PR firm who has a plan in place to build traffic at the horse show. Statistics from the past two years show that boutique vendors have gotten the most foot traffic and made the most sales during Grand Prix weekend, this year July 13 – 15 (Friday – Sunday). The unique location and one-of-a kind annual event draw people from over 50% of the American states and several foreign countries.
